Please read this policy before using Weavtra. If you do not agree, please stop using the relevant services.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Weavtra app, website, and related services. Weavtra is a personal project-management tool for knitting, crochet, and other crafts.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect account and profile information, including account name, nickname, avatar, optional phone number, encrypted password and security-answer data, login credentials, and any profile information you choose to provide. We also process the patterns, counters, tasks, yarn and tool inventory, ledger records, finished works, images, videos, files, notes, and feedback that you create or upload.
Information generated when you use the service
We may collect device and security-log information, such as device identifiers, IP address, operating system, app version, network status, request and login times, error logs, diagnostic IDs, and necessary activity and synchronization records. Error logs are used only to diagnose crashes, request failures, upload failures, and similar issues, and do not include passwords, verification codes, or other sensitive authentication information.
Information from device features
When you choose to use the camera, photo library, or file picker, we receive the selected or captured files and necessary file information only to provide the feature you requested.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain accounts, patterns, counters, tasks, inventory, ledgers, works, uploads, feedback, synchronization, backup, recovery, security, diagnostics, and service-quality improvements. If you actively use pattern-image recognition, we process the image you submit to return a recognition result.
4. Permissions
Camera, photos, and file-selection permissions are requested only when you actively use the related upload or capture feature. Network access is used for login, synchronization, loading content, uploads, recognition, and feedback. You can manage permissions in system settings; declining a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
5. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell personal information. Cloudflare R2 object storage processes the minimum necessary uploaded files, file names, access-control information, and necessary account association information solely for upload, storage, transmission, display, backup, and recovery. When you actively request pattern-image recognition, the submitted image and minimum necessary context are sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope to generate pattern text and explanations. After you agree to this policy and sign in, we use Sentry, provided by Functional Software, Inc., to process the minimum necessary crash and exception diagnostics: app version, operating system and device model, exception type, and redacted stack traces. We do not send your email, Weavtra ID, nickname, creative content, images/files, request bodies, screenshots, or interaction trails to Sentry. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legitimate rights, property, and safety.
6. Storage and security
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Raw first-party diagnostic events are generally retained for no more than 90 days; aggregated stability statistics that no longer identify a person may be kept longer. We use measures such as encrypted transmission, access control, permission isolation, encrypted password storage, and audit logs. No internet transmission is completely secure.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; withdraw consent or system permissions; and request account cancellation or cessation of processing. You can delete certain content in the app, use Settings > Account > Delete account in the app, or contact us using the channel below for other personal-information requests. Account deletion takes effect immediately after confirmation. We may verify your identity before processing a request.
8. Children
If you are under 14, use Weavtra with a guardian’s consent and guidance. If we discover that we processed a child’s personal information without required consent, we will take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
9. Updates
We may update this policy for product, legal, or operational reasons. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method and obtain consent again where required.
